This term the Interior and Spatial Design Program at Chelsea hosted the latest meeting of the recently formed Digital Technology and Heritage Committee, part of ICOMOS, the International Council for Monuments and Sites. The meeting was organised by BA and MA ISD Senior Lecturer, Peter Maloney.
Before the meeting Jane Kennedy, Records Manager at the Tate Gallery showed attendees, who had gathered from around the country and Students from Chelsea BA and MA Interior Design, some of the historic materials from the Tate archive regarding the Chelsea site, the Tate and the Millbank Penitentiary.
During the meeting Kristina Kotov, Architect and visiting lecturer on the MA Interior and Spatial Design course presented her recent Barn 2B project which included 3d scanning of a Barn in Lithuania by the group Scanlab Projects. The meeting was well attended and included students from across the BA and MA ISD programme.
